Shalita GmbH stands for Retail & Property Solutions. The company is built on the experience of its founder, Patrick Tacq, and focuses on retail property advisory, leasing, tenant representation and commercial real estate strategy across Belgium, Luxembourg, Switzerland and wider European markets.

Patrick began his career as a lawyer at De Bandt, Van Hecke & Lagae before joining InterTan, the international branch of Radio Shack, where he served as European Legal Counsel and European Property Director.

He later founded C&T Retail, which became one of the leading independent retail property firms in Belgium and Luxembourg. The firm advised clients such as Inditex and Pimkie on their first ventures into the Netherlands and was acquired by CB Richard Ellis in 2008.

Following the acquisition, Patrick became Head of Retail for CBRE in Belgium and Luxembourg and served on the EMEA Retail Board. As an executive director, he also successfully launched CBRE’s retail activities in Switzerland.

Through Shalita, Patrick returned to a more personal and direct approach to property advisory. Clients benefit from one-on-one contact, practical market knowledge and clear guidance without unnecessary layers or delays.
